Elijah Pitchford Finishes 13th in the Triple Jump at Drake Relays

DES MOINES, Iowa  – St. Cloud freshman Elijah Pitchford placed 13th in the triple jump on the second day of the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa on Friday, April 29, at Drake Stadium.
Pitchford jumped 14.51m/47'07.25" to finish 13th in the event. His best jump was his first.
Both outdoor track & field program continue competition at both the Drake Relays and the Drake Alternative over the weekend. The Drake Relay will wrap up on Saturday, April 30, afternoon. The Drake Alternative, which is in St. Peter, Minn. on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College, will also be on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.
