2015: Diers started in 8 games for the Huskies in 2015..earning a 8-0 record with a 3.90 ERA in 57.2 innings pitched..he also recorded 60 strikeouts with only 33 batters walked..His best game in 2015 came against Upper Iowa on March 21th when he pitched seven innings and only gave up one run and struck out 10 batters in a 6-1 win.
2013: Diers pitched in 13.2 innings during the 2013 season...he posted seven strikeouts and a 3.95 ERA, which included 12 hits allowed and six earned runs allowed...he had three strikeouts in NCAA Regional play against Minnesota State Mankato on May 19, 2013.
2012: Redshirt season at SCSU.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of Belle Plaine High School...a 3X letterwinner in baseball, basketbal and football at Belle Plaine...2X All-Conference pick in baseball and Diers also earned All-State baseball accolades during his prep career...named to All-Conference football squad as an honorable mention pick...high school highlights included striking out 15 batters in a game...posted a 6-3 record with 73 strikeouts in 2011 at Belle Plaine.
PERSONAL: Son of Paul Diers and Kay Carlson...sports management major at SCSU...enjoys hockey and golf.
