Welcome to the 2016 NCAA Division II Baseball Championship Central Regional!
The 2016 NCAA Division II Baseball Championship Central Regional bracket is set as the NCAA's selection committee announced their selections on Sunday, May 15. The eight selected teams will participate in the double-elimination tournament, which will be held May 19-23 at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
The #1 seeded Huskies will open regional play on Thursday, May 19 against #8 seeded Minnesota State University (33-16) at 5 p.m. Â In other first round games, #4 seed Arkansas Monticello (36-14) will play #5 seed Missouri Western (38-18) on May 19 at 1:30 p.m., #2 seed Central Missouri (38-13) will play #7 seeded Southwestern Oklahoma State (33-15) at 10 a.m. and #3 seed Minnesota Duluth (39-14) against #6 seed Emporia State (37-17) at 8:30 p.m.
The winner of the Central Regional will advance to the 2016 NCAA Division II championships in Cary, N.C. on May 28-June 4.
