The 1961-62 men's hockey team, playing outdoors on ice they themselves prepared, turned in an undefeated season at 11-0 by outscoring their opponents 62-13. Returning letter winners on the squad were Dale Carmichael, Les Etienne, Bill Fitsinger, Phil Gens, Roger Googins, Henry Hawkinson, team captain Ed Noble, Harry Olson, and Rod Pickett. Filling out the team were John Duncan, Jim Humeniuk, Alton Paulson, Denny Songle, Harry Stanius, Dave Svendsen, Gary Thorp, Tim Sherry, and Larry Whitleff. The team was coached by the late Jack Wink and Ed McGowan.
