Bob Miller

Bob Miller earned undergraduate degrees in industrial arts and physical education from SCSU in 1942 and 1946 respectively, as well as a master's degree in physical education from SCSU in 1954. Miller earned three letters in both football and track from 1939-41. He was the head track coach at Brainerd High School from 1948-60; he also assisted in football and basketball. Miller is a life member of the SCSU Alumni Association 25-Year Club, and a member of the Hall of Fame at Brainerd High School. He has been the recipient of the City of Brainerd Tower Award (1983), the Meritorious Service Award for the State of Minnesota, and April 15, 1983 was proclaimed by the mayor to be "Bob Miller Day" in Brainerd.
