Don Watkins helped organize the original Husky Boosters (at the time called Husky Hustlers) and is the recipient of the SCSU Alumni Service Award and the President's Award. He has served on four athletic search committees and was the 1984 chairman of the SCSU Foundation Drive. He is an active member of Rotary Club, Kiwanis and Chamber of Commerce, and provides leadership for the Boy Scouts program. He is being honored for his service to SCSU athletic departments. He lives in St. Cloud.
