Donald Buege graduated in 1955 with a physical education degree. Don was involved with the football, basketball, and track teams at SCSU from 1952 to 1953, he captained the basketball team. In 1952, his team ended the season by playing Bemidji for a first place tie in the T.C. Conference. That year Don was named to the All-Conference first team. After leaving St. Cloud State, Don developed a career in sales. He became a sales vice president for the Vollrath Company in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Don and his wife Ruth are the parents of four children. Don continues to serve his community through the local YMCA and his church through the stewardship and building committees.
