St. Cloud, MN: Dr. Gilchrist has been a team physician for over 25 years at St. Cloud State University providing medical coverage for the Husky football and hockey teams. Dr. Gilchrist recently retired from St. Cloud Orthopedic Associates, LTD., where he was an orthopedic surgeon. He joined St. Cloud Orthopedic Associates in 1974, specializing in sports medicine and knee surgery. He was instrumental in starting local athletic screening for injury prevention, off the cuff shoulder conditioning, run and shoot, pre-season conditioning, and more recently, the H.E.A.T. (High Energy Athletic Training) Program. His care has touched nearly every high school and college athletic program in the St. Cloud area.
