Dr. Kenneth Ames

St. Cloud, MN Dr. Ames served as the Faculty Athletic Representative to the North Central Conference from 1981-1987. In 1988, he was given the North Central Conference Meritorious Service Award. For 13 years, Dr. Ames was the Dean of the College of Education and oversaw the SCSU athletic department. A native of River Falls, Wisconsin, Dr. Ames earned his bachelor's from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, his master's from the University of Minnesota and his doctorate from the University of Wyoming. Dr. Ames and his wife Marilyn are active members of the First United Methodist Church in St. Cloud. Dr. Ames can be found at many SCSU events supporting the Huskies.
