Bahr earned varisty letters in football from 1966-68. He served as co-captain of the football team, was named twice to the Northern Intercollegiate Conference Team and the All District 13 Team and was named NIC MVP in 1967. Bahr served in the U.S. Army after graduating from SCSU in 1968. He is currently regional supervisor for disability determination, Social Security in St. Paul.
