Harold J. Hendrickson earned a two-year degree from SCSU. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota and a master's from the University of Oregon. Hendrickson lettered in football, basketball, and baseball in 1919, 1920, and 1921. During that time the football and basketball teams won state championships. He was the class president his junior and senior years in school. Hendrickson taught at Maple Lake, Minnesota for two years and then taught, coached, and was a principal for 44 years in the Oregon school system. He coached football, basketball, baseball, and track from 1921 to 1956. Hendrickson is a member of Phi Delta Kappa, Lion's, Moose, Grange, and Elks and is a deputy sheriff. He is retired and living in Citrus Heights, California.
