He earned football letters at St. Cloud in 1925, 1926 and quarterbacked the undefeated 1926 team. Â He also lettered in track during the 1926 and 1927 seasons. Â He was selected to represent St. Cloud State at the prestigious Drake Relays in 1927. Â In 1926, he was a member of the mile relay team that established the St. Cloud State school record of 3:01.5. Â Other marks he established that year include the 440 yard dash, (:53) and his contribution to the 1/2 mile relay record (1:36.3). Â Upon graduation from St. Cloud, Hank was a teacher and coach at Maple Lake High School 1927-30. Â In 1952, he joined the staff of St. Cloud Tech High School and served as a teacher as well as director of student affairs until retiring in 1973. Â He has officiated football, basketball and track for over forty years. Â
