Jim Fogo played football at SCSU from 1954 to 1957. Â A four-year starter at tackle for Coach Les Luymes, Jim graduated from SCSU with honors in 1958. Â He earned a master's from Bowling Green University in 1963. Â The Huskies won conference titles in 1954, 55 and 56 and Jim was named All-Conference in 1956 and 57. Â He also captained the team in 1957. Â Outside of football, Jim appeared in the 1957-58 Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities, and was a member of the Letterman's Club, Kappa Delta Pi and Lambda Chi Beta. Â He was also a Stephen Samson Scholarship Winner. Â Upon his graduation from St. Cloud State, Jim went to teach and coach in the Minnetonka School District for 37 years. Â He coached junior high teams in football, wrestling and volleyball, and taught math. Â Jim also officiated for ten years and is a member of the Mill City Officials Hall of Fame. Jim is retired after 37 years with the Minnetonka School District. Â
