From Bozeman, Mont., Julie Eisenschenk played basketball for the Huskies from 1985 to 1989 and was a member of the track and field team from 1986 to 1988 and again in the spring of 1990. In basketball, she was a two-time All-North Central Conference selection, played in three NCAA Regionals and one NCAA Quarterfinal and helped the Huskies to the 1989 NCC title. She was a 1986 AWSF Freshman All-American and a 1987 All-American. Julie was a two-time NCC All-Academic team member and was a third and second team GTE CoSIDA Academic All-American. She is one of only 16 players to reach the 1,000 point career mark at SCSU, having scored 1,500 points, which ranks her seventh in all-time scoring. She currently ranks in the top ten in eight categories in eight statistical categories of the SCSU record book. In track and field, Julie was a two-time All-American in the shot put, placing sixth at the outdoor NCAA Championship in 1986 and seventh in 1989. She was a three-time outdoor conference champion in the shot put and discus, winning both events in 1986 and the shot put in 1987. She is the only SCSU female athlete to receive the Stan Marshall Memorial Award for Outstanding North Central Conference Student-Athlete, an honor she received in 1990. Julie earned a bachelor's degree in biomedical science at SCSU and a master of physical therapy degree at the Mayo School of Health-Related Sciences in Rochester, Minn. Julie is currently a Senior Staff Physical Therapist at Lantis Enterprises, Mountain View Care Center in Bozeman, Montana.
