Steve Strandemo lettered four times in both baseball and basketball before graduating from SCSU in 1971 with degrees in physical education and mathematics. He was named MVP of the Granite City Holiday Basketball Tournament team in 1968 and was an all-conference baseball player. After college, Strandemo became a racquetball touring pro. He won Canadian National Singles and Doubles Championship in 1976. He has taught and directed the Strandemo Racquetball Camps for twenty years in the United States, Japan, Greece and Saudi Arabia. More recently, he developed Strandemo Sports Camps which features baseball, basketball, golf and tennis. Today, he is president of Strandemo Racquetball, Inc.
