Sue Fischer graduated from SCSU in 1977 with a bachelor's degree in physical education. She earned her master's degree from the University of Arizona. At SCSU, Fischer was a four-time letterwinner in tennis and named to the Dean's list four times. She is currently a physical education teacher and men's and women's tennis coach at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. Fischer's coaching honors include being named NAIA District 14 Coach of the Year and Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 1985.
