An all-around athlete, Lambert played volleyball for four years, softball for two years and tennis two years. In addition, she established her niche among the top twenty-five all time women's basketball scoring leaders over a career of just thirty-two games. Following graduation, she taught and coached high school in Hutchinson, MN then earned a master's degree from Arizona State University. She moved to Flagstaff, AZ where she coached women's basketball at Northern Arizona University. She currently lives in Long Beach, CA.
