She is a life-long friend and supporter of Husky Athletics.  It all began on Saturday mornings in the Husky Hot Shot program where she honed her skills and nurtured her love of Husky Athletics.  She attended St. Cloud Tech High School and earned a bachelor's degree in mass communications from St. Cloud State in 1997.  In 1998, she was granted a master's degree in sports administration and facility management from Ohio University.  She joined the Minor League Baseball staff in June of 1998 as an assistant in the Licensing Department, was promoted to assistant  director, associate director of licensing in 2008. In January of 2011 she became the first female Vice President  in the 109-year history of the Minor League Baseball office when she was named Vice President, Business Development.  She continues to follow Husky Athletics on the Internet, on return trips to St. Cloud and whenever a Husky team travels to Florida.  She has been a guest speaker at St. Cloud State, Ohio University, University of Tampa, and a featured speaker at the Minor League Baseball Promotional Seminar and Bob Freitas Business Seminar.  She spoke at the 2010 National Association for Girls and Women in Sports Women's Leadership Conference and the 2011 College Sports Information Directors of America Conference.
