She was a standout athlete in basketball and track and field from 1986-1990.  An outstanding rebounder, Jameson was a four-year starter in basketball, appearing in every game from 1986 to 1990. A three-time All-Northern Central Conference (NCC) pick, including two first-team honors, Jameson held the career record in league rebounds with 577.  She led the NCC in rebounding 1990 averaging 10.3 rebounds per game.  She was named to the to the NCAA Division II North Central Region All-Tournament team in 1989. In 1990, she named a Second Team American Women's Sports Federation All-American. That same year she was named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Kodak All-District team.  Jameson played in 115 games , scoring 1,573 points and pulling down 1,046 rebounds. She currently ranks ninth on the all-time career scoring chart and is third in career rebounds. She still ranks in the top 10 in career field goals made and attempted, free throws made and attempted, assists, and steals. During her career, the Huskies won the 1989 NCC title, the first for women, played in four NCAA North Central Region Tournaments, one NCAA quarterfinal game, and posted an 83-32 overall record. Upon the completion of her collegiate career, Jameson landed on the United States Team Handball  team, winning three national titles. The 1992 Handball Team won the Gold Medal at the Pan American Games.  She made the 1996 Olympic team that finished eighth. Â
