Veiko Rajacich

The late Velko Rajacich lettered in football, basketball and track at SCSU from 1946-48. He was captain of the 1947-48 basketball team that won the conference title and played in the national championship in Kansas City. In 1948, his graduation year, Rajacich was named in "Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities." He coached at SCSU in 1948 and 1949, and later coached at Osakis and Mounds View High Schools before his death in 1971. His son is Dr. Richard Rajacich, Sartell.
