SCSU Men's Tennis Opens Play in Florida on Mar. 11

The St. Cloud State men's tennis team (3-8) opened play on its spring break trip to the Orlando, Fla. area with two matches on Mar. 11 and a match on Mar. 12.
In action against Bluefield State, the Huskies lost a 9-0 decision and also charted an 8-1 loss against Jackson State. Both matches were played at neutral sites in Orlando. The lone victory for the Huskies against Jackson State was an 8-5 win at number doubles by Jordan Peterson and Matt Sturgeon.http://scsuhuskies.com/admin/admin_main.aspx
On March 12, the Huskies lost an 8-1 match against RPI. Brenyn Anderson collected the victory for the Huskies against RPI with a 6-4, 6-1 win at sixth singles.
The Huskies will continue their southern trip for the remainder of the week. On March 13, the Huskies will play East Texas Baptist and on March 14, SCSU will battle Adelphi in Orlando.
