SCSU men's cross country team places 19th at NCAA regional

The St. Cloud State University men's cross country team posted a 19th place finish at the 2015 NCAA Division II Central Region championships in Joplin, Mo. on Nov. 7.
The Huskies charted 543 points in the race, which was held on the 10K trail at Missouri Southern State University's "Tom Rutledge" XC Course. Augustana won the race with 82 points and East Central was second with 104 points.
SCSU was led at the race by junior Chris Caron with a 70th place time of 32:28.35. Teammate Tremayne Collins was 106th at 33:21.05 while John Simila was 112th at 33:25.96 and Sebastian Sowada was 113th at 33:30.38. SCSU's contignent at the regional was completed by Johnathan Hess with a 142nd time of 34:26.12.
A total of 176 runners competed in the race, which was won by Missouri Southern's Vince Kiprop at 29:39.92.
