St. Cloud State cross country teams earn academic honors

The 2015 NCAA Division II Cross Country Scholar Teams of the Year have been released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The NSIC had 14 women's teams and 12 men's team honored for having compiled a cumulative grand point average of at least 3.0 and must having scored at an NCAA Division II regional meet.
The St. Cloud State men's and women's cross country teams under the leadership of head coach Sam Kettenhofen both earned Scholar Team status in 2015-16. The SCSU men's team had a team GPA of 3.19 and the women's team charted a team GPA of 3.52.
