St. Cloud State nordic ski races at Houghton qualifier on Feb. 3-4

The St. Cloud State nordic ski team competed at the MTU CCSA Races in Houghton, Mich. on Feb. 3-4. The races were hosted by Michigan Tech University. The first day of competition featured a 5/10K Classic race and the second day of competition was a 15/20K mass freestyle race.
SCSU's Jamie Herridge placed 21st in the classic race on Feb. 3 with a time of 20:21.7. Teammate Haley Bock placed 29th with a time of 21:38.4. In the second day of racing, Herridge led SCSU once again with a15th place time of 1:00.26.3 in the freestyle race. Bock was 27th in the freestyle race with a time of 1:10.59.4.
The Huskies will return to action on Feb. 10-11 with races in Rhinelander, Wisc. at the CCSA Conference Championships.
