St. Cloud State cross country places 10th at Augsburg Invitational

Chrissy Lofgren led the St. Cloud State University cross country team at the 2018 Augsburg Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 15 with a 22nd place time of 25:18.6 on the 6K course in Bloomington, Minn. The race featured over 300 of the top collegiate runners in the upper midwest.
As a team, the Huskies placed 10th with a score of 131, while NSIC rival Minnesota Duluth led the 24 team field with a score of 39.
SCSU's McKenzie Holt placed 34th in the team at 25:32.2 and teammate Annika Juenemann was 49th at 25:55.2. SCSU's squad was completed by Clara Welhouse with a time of 27:34.4 and Autum Shurbert-Hetzel with a time of 27:55.6.
The Huskies will return to action on Sept. 29 at the University of Minnesota' Roy Griak Invitational in the Twin Cities.
