SCSU Nordic Ski participates in Mayors XC Challenge

The St. Cloud State University Nordic Ski team participated in the Mayors XC Challenge Races, which were held on Theodore Wirth Park in Minneapolis on Feb. 16-17.
The weekend of racing opened with a 15K classic race on Feb. 16. SCSU's Jamie Herridge placed 41st in the Senior Women's Division race with a time of 1:06:21.2.
In the 5K freestyle race on Feb. 17, Herridge placed 61st overall with a time of 17:25.9. Teammate Anna Stockinger placed 100th in the race with a time of 19:33.3.
The Huskies will continue their season on Feb. 23-24 with a trip to the NCAA Regional meet in Houghton, Mich.
