ST. CLOUD, MINN. - St. Cloud State University women's soccer head coach Gretta Arvesen has announced the addition of Arianna Del Moral (Brooklyn Park, Minn. / Totino Grace) to the 2021 team roster.
Del Moral joins St. Cloud State after four years at the University of Minnesota. During her tenure with the Gophers, the midfielder competed in 40 games in Big Ten play with four starts as a junior in 2019. She scored her first collegiate goal as a freshman and notched 21 shots on goal in her final two seasons. Del Moral was an Academic All-Big Ten selection in 2019 and 2020.
"I am excited to play with the Huskies and get to know the players and coaching staff for my remaining year of eligibility," Del Moral said in a statement. "This is the perfect opportunity for me to continue what I most love and also pursue my Masters degree in business."
A high school star in the state of Minnesota, Del Moral made quite a name for herself during her prep career. A 2017 graduate of Totino Grace, Del Moral was a three-time letter winner and earned All-Conference honors in 2016 and 2017. As a senior, she earned All-Area and All-State honors and was named a finalist for Minnesota Ms. Soccer. A two-time section champion, Del Moral participated in the Olympic Development program from 2010-13 and won the North American Cup in 2015.
Del Moral will pursue her MBA with the Herberger School of Business while with St. Cloud State. Off the field, Del Moral was a member of National Honors Society (NHS) and was an honor roll student in high school. She is the daughter of Rafael and Iramara Del Moral and lists Lionel Messi as her favorite professional athlete. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business and Marketing from Minnesota in May.
