ST. CLOUD, MINN. - The St. Cloud State University women's hockey team will host 2022 summer camps at the Herb Books National Hockey Center in St. Cloud, Minnesota. During the month of August, the Huskies will host an all girls camp, giving players the opportunity to see the St. Cloud State hockey facilities while developing their skills and understanding of the sport of hockey.Â
The camp will take place August 8-10 at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center on the St. Cloud State campus, and both camps will be led by Huskies Associate Head Coach Jinelle Siergiej and Assistant Coach Molly Engstrom. Girls in age groups from U10 to U14 are welcome to participate in the camp, as are all skill levels from beginner to advanced. The All Girls camp will focus on skills development for young hockey athletes both on and off the ice, as participants will work with Huskies players and coaches both individually and in small groups. Additionally, campers will have the opportunity to apply learned skills during camp with various games and competitions.Â
Participants are expected to bring their own hockey equipment along with a jersey, water bottle, tennis shoes, off ice apparel and a packed lunch, as meals will not be provided.
