St. Cloud State Athletics Places 40 on NSIC Spring All-Academic List

23 Huskies earn Team of Excellence recognition
BURNSVILLE, Minn. – St. Cloud State Athletics had 40 student-athletes earn 2021-22 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Spring All-Academic recognition, as announced by the league on Thursday. In addition, 23 Huskies earned Team of Excellence recognition.
Baseball led the way with 15 recipients, while softball had 13, women's track & field had nine recipients and women's tennis had three. All nine women's track & field honorees earned Team of Excellence recognition.
To be eligible for the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence, a student-athlete must have a 3.60 cumulative GPA or higher, while NSIC All-Academic Team members must have a 3.20 cumulative GPA or higher.
Additionally, the student-athlete must be a member of the varsity traveling team, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at her/his institution (true freshmen, red-shirt freshmen and ineligible athletic transfers are not eligible) and must have completed at least one full academic year at that institution.
