The Huskies win Multiple events over the weekend

ST. CLOUD, MINN.– The St. Cloud State Swimming & Diving teams traveled to Rochester, Minn. on Saturday to compete against Mankato, Truman State, UW- La Crosse. The men's team won the meet with 861 points. While the women's team placed second, falling to Mankato, earning 600.5 points.

TEAM SCORES

For the men, St. Cloud scored 861 points, followed by UW-La Crosse (502) and Truman State (493).

For the women, Mankato finished first with 728 points, followed by the Huskies (600.5), Truman State (457.5), and UW-La Crosse (337).

TOP HUSKIES

Sophomore Avery Morton earned a win in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 47.59. Morton also got third in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.64.
Junior Emile Dost picked up a win in the 200-yard individual medley (1:57.23), got second in the 100-yard breaststroke (59.08), and fifth in the 200-yard backstroke (1:59.47).
Junior Anna Reschko got the win in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:13.59.
Freshman Kate Turner won the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:13.92. She also placed third in the 500-yard freestyle (5:19.81) and seventh in the 200-yard freestyle (1:59.83).

Next, the Husky divers will travel to Northfield, Minn. on Oct. 28, to compete at the Carleton Diving Invite.
