
St. Cloud State Swim and Dive have Success at Quad Meet

The Husky men earn the win at the meet with the Women’s team finishing second
Rochester, Minn. – The St. Cloud State Swimming & Diving teams had success over the weekend, as the divers traveled to La Crosse, Wisc. and the swimmers traveled to Rochester, Minn. on Saturday. The men's team competed against Truman State and UW-La Crosse, with the women's team competing against the same teams as well as MN State Mankato. The men's team won the meet with 994 points. While the women's team placed second, falling to Mankato, earning 705.5 points.
TEAM SCORES
For the men, the Huskies scored 944 points, followed by Truman State (615), and UW-La Crosse (542).
For the women, Mankato placed first earning 817 points, followed by the Huskies (705.5), then UW-La Crosse (503), and finally Truman State (405).
TOP HUSKIES

Graduate Student Raf Hendriks earned wins in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 48.82 and the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:47.29. With these times, Hendriks now has the fastest times in the country in both of these events.

Sophomore Lance Gordon earned wins in the 100-yard butterfly (49.61) and the 200-yard butterfly (1:51.39). Gordon now holds the 8th fastest time in the country in the 100-yard butterfly and the 4th fastest time in the 200-yard butterfly.

Sophomore Jimmy Nord swept the diving events, earning wins in both 1-Meter (307.00 points) and 3-Meter (319.50 points)

Freshman Hallie Drossel picked up the win in the 100-yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:07.60.

Senior Anna Reschko won the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:14.63

Senior Kailey Fossell earned second on both 1-Meter (244.20) and 3-Meter (241.20).
UP NEXT
Next, the Husky divers will travel to Northfield, Minn. on Oct. 28 to compete at the Carleton Diving Invite. The swimmers will have the next two weeks off, hitting the pool again on Nov. 1 at the Coyote Invite.
