
Five Named to USC All-Central Region Team

Quam, Olson, Primerano, Spaine and Trapino all named to All-Region Team
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Women's Soccer had five student-athletes named to the United Soccer Coaches (USC) All-Central Region Team, as announced by the organization on Thursday. Senior midfielder Brooke Quam (Lakeville, Minn.) was named to the first team, while junior midfielder Grace Olson (West Des Moines, Iowa), senior forward Ellie Primerano (Saint Joseph, Mich.) and junior defender Ana Spaine (West Des Moines, Iowa) were named to the second team with junior forward Linsey Trapino (Verona, Wis.) named to the third team.
Primerano earns her third all-region honor from the USC while Quam, Spaine, Olson and Trapino all earn their second career honors from the organization.
Quam was named to the D2CCA All-America Third, the D2CCA All-Central Region First Team, All-NSIC First Team and the NSIC Midfielder of the Year after a stellar senior season. She led the NSIC in total assists with eight while adding two goals for 12 points. She scored both of her goals in NSIC play while adding three assists for seven points while helping lead SCSU to a program-record 11 conference wins. Quam joined SCSU's 25-point club this season and currently ranks 14th all-time in career scoring with 36 points (7g/22a). Her eight assists are the eighth-most in a single season in program history while her 22 career assists rank second. She had three assists against UW-Parkside (Sept. 12), becoming just the second Husky in program history to have multiple games of three or more assists.
Olson earned her second consecutive USC All-Central Region honor and earned All-NSIC Second Team honors and became the most recent member of SCSU's 25-point club this season and finished her junior campaign with six goals and six assist for 18 points while starting all 24 games. In three seasons, Olson has 12 goals and 11 assists for 35 points with six game-winning goals.
In addition to her D2CCA All-Central Region First Team selection, Primerano was named to the All-NSIC First Team for the third consecutive season, becoming the first player in program history to earn three all-conference first team selections. She led the charge offensively in 2025, leading the team in scoring with eight goals and six assists for 22 points and four game-winning goals. Among program career records, she finished her career ranked third in game-winning goals (eight), fourth in assists (20), fourth in scoring (58 pts, 19g/20a) and 10th in goals (19).
Spaine earned her second all-region honors and third all-conference honor after she was named to the All-NSIC Second Team. Spaine produced two goals and an assist for five points and has anchored the backline which has set program records in shutouts (13) and best GAA (0.58).
Trapino earned all-region honors for the second time in her career after being named to the USC All-Central Region second team in 2023. She finished the season tied for the team lead in points with eight goals and six assists, both matching Primerano. Her 20 career goals and 52 career points (20g/12a) both rank seventh all-time in program history.
