Ashwabay...competed for Huskies at 2013 and 2014 CCSA championships and NCAA regional meets...consistent top 30 place finisher throughout 2013-14 season.

Before SCSU: A 2011 graduate of Highland Park High School...a four-year letterwinner in nordic ski and two-time team captain at HPHS...named team MVP in 2009, 2010 and 2011...gained team Most Improved award in 2008...placed third at 3AA sectional in 2011...helped team win section championship in 2010...qualified and competed at state meet in 2010 and 2011...4X All-Conference in nordic ski at HPHS...three-time letterwinner in softball...earned All-Conference and Silver Slugger awards in softball as a prep athlete...four-time letterwinner in swimming and diving at HPHS...served as a team captain for swimming and diving team...gained All-Conference and All-Conference Honorable Mention in swimming and diving in high school...qualified for 3AA section three times in swimming, making the section final twice as an individual...member of the Minneapolis Ski Club/SISU for two years.
