2021-22: Roberts added a second First Team All-NSIC honor to his name in 2021-22, becoming the first St. Cloud State player to earn back-to-back First Team honors since Gage Davis. He did so after putting up sensational numbers in 2021-22. As a junior, Roberts averaged a team-leading 20.1 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, both of which ranked top-10 in the NSIC during the regular season. He additionally shot .463 from the floor during the regular season and ranked top-10 in the nation in both minutes played and minutes per game. Roberts' overall numbers weren't the only reason he earned First Team All-NSIC honors. The junior was even better in conference play, averaging 20.6 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, .9 blocks and 1.4 steals in NSIC games this season. Roberts additionally scored in double-digits in all but one conference game this season, and scored 30+ points twice including Wednesday's playoff victory. He either led or ranked second in the conference in scoring throughout the entirety of 2021-22 and closes the season with 1209 career points to his name.
2020-21: Roberts did not suffer from a sophomore slump, as he earned First Team All-NSIC honors for his play in 2020-21 and was named the NSIC North Division Player of the Week in late January. He was the top scorer for St. Cloud State from start to finish, as he led the Huskies in points and points per game from the through the entirety of 2020-21. At the end of the regular season, the sophomore averaged a team-leading 21.1 points per game after scoring 338 points and shooting .498 from the floor during the COVID shortened season. Additionally, Roberts scored 20+ points in nine of St. Cloud State's 16 games, including a career high 34 in a win over Concordia-St. Paul in January, and never once scored in single-digits. He led the Huskies and ranked sixth in the NSIC in rebounding at the end of the regular season, averaging 8.2 rebounds a game with 131 total rebounds, while recording 20 steals and 11 blocks. Roberts also closed the season ranked second in the NSIC in scoring (21.1) and led the conference in minutes played at 37.6.
2019-20: Roberts was outstanding in his opening season with the Huskies, as he was one of only two players to appear and start all 29 games during the 2019-20 season. As a first year, Roberts ranked second on the team in scoring, averaging an impressive 13.9 points a game while shooting .495 from the floor, including a .425 clip from three-point range. In total, he scored 404 points with 189 rebounds, 39 assists, 17 blocks and 28 steals. Roberts scored a career-high 29 points in a loss to Minnesota State in January and tallied a career-hgih 13 rebounds in a win over Minnesota-Crookston in the same month.
High School: A 6'4 forward from Oak Park, Illinois, Roberts joins the Huskies after a successful high school career at Oak Park and River Forest High School where he played for head coach Matt Maloney. In his final season, Roberts earned Third Team All-State honors as well as Second Team All-Area and All-Conference honors while averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game. As a senior, Roberts shot 55.5 from the floor while averaging 7.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.5 blocks per game.
