Before SCSU: Â A 2011 graduate of Blaine High School, where he played for coach Dave Aus...earned All-Conference status throughout his prep career...also named team MVP and Offensive Award winner at Blaine...selected as Blaine's Rookie of the Year...helped lead Blaine to three top six finishes at the state MSHSL tournament including a third place finish, a fifth place finish and a sixth place finish...played junior hockey for the Fargo Force in the USHL...he finished 2010-11 season at Fargo with two goals and three assists in 12 games...he played full season of USHL hockey at Fargo in 2011-12 with 11 goals and 13 assists to his credit...also gained high school letters in golf at Blaine H.S...earned All-Conference honors in golf and also named Blaine's Rookie of the Year in golf.
Personal: Â Son of Kathy and Mike Brodzinski...his father (Mike) played at St. Cloud State from 1984-87 and posted 76 goals and 70 assists for the Huskies. Â Mike Brodzinski was a two-time All-American for the Huskies in 1986 and 1987 and helped SCSU claim a third place finish at the 1987 NCAA Division III championships under the leadership of coach Herb Brooks...brother Michael will play college hockey at Minnesota beginning in 2013-14...hobbies include golfing, hunting, fishing and anything active...health and physical education major at SCSU.
