Before SCSU: A 2011 graduate of Elk River High School..a transfer from Minnesota Duluth...earned six letters in nordic ski, six letters in track and field and five letters in cross country as a high school athlete...served as a team captain for Elk River's track, cross country and nordic ski teams...earned All-Conference honors in cross country and nordic ski...qualified two times for state meet in nordic ski and four times in cross country...ran one season of cross country at Minnesota Duluth...attended Nike Cross Country Nationals for running in 2009.
