2015-16: Nooker enjoyed a standout junior season at St. Cloud ... She was second on the team in points, posting 350 on the season for an average of 13.0 per game ... She lead the team in assists with 111 ... Nooker scooped up 175 rebounds ... She went 44 for 53 attempts at the line (.830) ... Nooker lead the team in minutes played with 824, an average of 30.5 min/game ... Named to the 2015-16 NSIC Acadmic All-Conference Team.
2014-15: Played in 26 games in her second season with the Huskies…scored a total of 327 points, averaging 12.6 points per game…made 61 of 73 field throw attempts (..836)…finished with 53 steals…grabbed 151 rebounds…recorded a career-high 26 points against Southwest Minn. State (01/30/15)…grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds against Bemidji State (12/05/15) and Sioux Falls (02/25/15)...finished with 64 assists...named Academic All-Conference.
2013-14: Played in 27 games in her first season with the Huskies...scored a total of 163 points averaging 6 points per game...grabbed a total of 85 rebounds...made 52 of 62 free throw attempts (.839)...made a total of 38 assists...scored a season-high of 13 points against Winona State (2/14/14)...grabbed a season-high 8 rebounds against Northern State (2/8/14).
HIGH SCHOOL: Chelsea Nooker is a 5'9” guard and a 2013 graduate of Bay Port High School in Green Bay, Wis. As a junior she averaged 11 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals a game. She was a first team All-Conference pick the last two seasons and was named first team All-Area her junior year. She earned Co-Defensive Player of the Year honors. A team captain and team MVP, Nooker is a four-year varsity letterwinner. She is named among the top 50 seniors in Wisconsin. She also competes on the varsity tennis team and is a doubles team MVP. Nooker is an Honor Roll student and National Honor Society member.
Coach Fish on Nooker. “We like that Chelsea can score in multiple ways as she can take people off the dribble or can score on the block. She does a great job of rebounding out of the guard spot.”
Personal: Chelsea is the daughter of Paul and Janet Nooker and is majoring in Health and Physical Education at St. Cloud State.
