Abby Rasmussen joins the coaching staff at St. Cloud State University in 2018-19. A standout swimmer for the Huskies from 2011-15, Rasmussen earned All-America and All-Conference status in the backstroke and breaststroke during her collegiate career along with being part of SCSU's medley relay teams that gained All-America and All-Conference status. Rasmussen was also a team record holder in the 100 breaststroke and the 200-medley relay.

She attended high school at nearby Sauk Rapids-Rice High School. During her time at Sauk Rapids-Rice she was able to qualify for the Single A state championships twice.
