St. Cloud State University men's hockey fans will get a chance to help support this year's Toys for Tots campaign during annual Teddy Bear Toss at the #2 Huskies' upcoming game against Union College at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center on Friday, Dec. 13.
The Teddy Bear Toss will take place during the first intermission of the Huskies game against nationally ranked Union College. All fans attending the game are encouraged to bring a new or gently used Teddy Bear or stuffed animal and throw it onto the ice during the first intermission of the game. All Teddy Bears and stuffed animals collected during the Teddy Bear Toss will then be donated to the St. Cloud area Toys for Tots campaign.
The Teddy Bear Toss is being sponsored this year by Riddle's Jewelry and Country Inn and Suites.
SCSU currently owns a 9-1-2 overall record and a 4-1-1 record in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference.
