SCSU Men's Tennis Opens 2014 with Two Victories

The St. Cloud State University men's tennis team opened its 2014 season this weekend with a pair of victories on the Huskies' home courts at the Fitness Evolution Tennis Center in Sartell. On Feb. 1, the Huskies charted a 9-0 victory at home over Macalester College and on Feb. 2, the Huskies rolled to a 7-2 win over St. Thomas.
The complete results for both matches are listed below. The Huskies are led this season by 17th year head coach Jerry Anderson, who has posted an impressive 272-128 record during his tenure at SCSU.Â
The Huskies will continue their season on Feb. 7 with a match at Michigan Tech University in Houghton, Mich. SCSU will remain in Houghton on Feb. 8 to complete the weekend with a neutral site match against Lake Superior State at the MTU Tennis Complex.
