NORTHFIELD, MINN. – Chris Caron paced the St. Cloud State men's cross country program with a 34th place finish at the 2015 St. Olaf College Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 19. The 8,000-meter run was competed at the St. Olaf Cross Country Trails,

Caron posted a time of 26:41.8 to lead the Huskies. Jake Campbell of St. Olaf won the race with a time of 25:20.2. The Oles also took home the team victory, while SCSU placed 13th of the 20 programs that competed.

John Simila placed second for the Huskies with a 65th place finish and a time of 27:32.7. His teammate Tremayne Collins was 85th at 28:17.8. Sebastian Sowada (28:24.0), Jack Howell (28:44.9), Jesse Groettum (29:11.6) and Johnathan Hess (30:15.1) completed the field for SCSU.

The Huskies will continue their 2015 season on Sept. 26 with a trip to the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota at the Les Bolstand Golf Course in Falcon Heights, Minn.
