#2 SCSU Wrestling scores 42-3 win at U-Mary

The #2 St. Cloud State University wrestling team (12-1, 4-0 NSIC) scored another conference victory with 42-3 triumph at the University of Mary on Saturday, Jan. 30.
The Huskies only lost one match in the NSIC dual in Bismarck, N.D. Â SCSU opened the day with a fall by Travis Swanson at 141-pounds and also gained pins by Travis Holt at 157-pounds, Uthman Rabiu at 184-pounds and V.J. Giulio at 197-pounds. Â The Huskies' #1 Clint Poster earned a tech fall at 165-pounds while #4 Clayton Jennissen gained extra points with a major decision at 174-pounds. Â #1 Austin Goergen (285), Brett Velasquez (125) and Jarred Oftedahl (133) all picked up wins to wrap up the win for SCSU.
SCSU will continue its season on Feb. 4 with a dual match against Southwest Minnesota State at Pierz-Healy High School in nearby Pierz, Minn. Â The match is slated to begin at 7 p.m. Â Complete results for the match are listed below:
