Former St. Cloud State University men's hockey standout Charlie Lindgren has been named to the roster of Team USA for the upcoming IIHF World Championships, which will be played in Denmark during the month of May 2018.

The 2018 International Ice Hockey Federation Men's World Championship takes place in Copenhagen and Herning, Denmark, from May 4-20, 2018.Â
The U.S. Men's National Team will be competing in Group B alongside Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Korea, Latvia and Norway.  The U.S. opens the competition against rival Canada on Friday, May 4, at 10:15 a.m. ET.Â
