BURNSVILLE, MINN. – It was quite the impressive fall season for the St. Cloud State University athletics department. However, the Huskies didn't just excel in competition during the 2019 fall season but in the classroom as well, as 53 St. Cloud State student-athletes were recognized as members of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Fall Academic Team Tuesday afternoon.
The 53 fall honorees are the most for the Huskies since St. Cloud State joined the NSIC in 2007 and the most since 44 student-athletes were honored last year. In total, 739 student-athletes across the conference earned the honor, including the 44 student-athletes from St. Cloud State.
Additionally, 20 of the 44 Huskies were All-Academic Team of Excellence members, a new honor in the NSIC.
