2019: In his return, Blando was a key player for St. Cloud State, as he appeared and started all 11 games for the Huskies in 2019. As a sophomore, Blando served as St. Cloud State's top running back for most of the season, wracking up a team-leading 485 yards on 124 rush attempts. He led the Huskies in total rush yards (485), total net rush yards (453) and yards/ game (41.18) throughout the season and closed 2019 with three total touchdowns.
2018: Blando missed the 2018 season due to injury.
Prior to SCSU: Served as team captain...named team’s offensive MVP as a senior...a First Team All-Conference selection in his final season...earned selection to the All-Region team...named to the Wisconsin High School All-Region Team…averaged 6.7 yards per carry and had eight rushing touchdowns as a senior along with running for 736 yards on 110 attempts...was an Honorable Mention selection to the Milwaukee Sentinels All-Area Team…played football at Oak Creek High School for Mike Bartholomew
Personal: Son of Anthony and Dana Blando…majoring in physical therapy…enjoys fishing when not playing football…his favorite athlete is Walter Payton…lists his father, Anthony, as having had the greatest influence on his life…named to the Honor Roll all eight semesters in high school…played the last half of his high school senior football year with a torn labrum and broken collarbone…his father is a firefighter and his mother is a nurse.
