Former Husky Will Borgen makes NHL debut with Buffalo

Former St. Cloud State University men's hockey player Will Borgen, made his debut in his first NHL hockey game for the Buffalo Sabres against the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday, March 26th. Borgen's the 33rd NHL player from SCSU.
He was a 4th round draft pick for the Sabres, #92 overall in the 2015 entry draft. In his time at SCSU, he was named All-NCHC Academic Team in 2017, and NCHC All-Rookie team in 2016 and selected to play in the U.S National Team and played in the IIHF World Junior Championships. In his three seasons with the Huskies he appeared in 106 games, with 5 goals and 36 assists.Â
