
St. Cloud State Announces Homecoming Festivities for Oct. 13-17

St. Cloud State Men’s Hockey, Women’s Hockey, Volleyball and Men’s Soccer will all be in action
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Athletics and St. Cloud State University would like to officially welcome all alumni and fans back to the St. Cloud area for the 2021 edition of Homecoming, which is scheduled to take place Oct. 13-17. The university and athletics department have organized a wide variety of activities to appease all Huskies fans! A full list of athletics events is located below.
St. Cloud State fans will have plenty of opportunities to see the Huskies in action over homecoming weekend, as four teams will be in action at home at Husky Stadium, Halenbeck Hall and the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. The homecoming festivities will begin on Friday, as the volleyball team hosts Mary at 6 p.m., followed by the first-year men's soccer program on the pitch against Purdue Northwest at 7 p.m. Both matches will feature performances from the St. Cloud State University Faculty and Staff Dance Teams. On Saturday, the women's hockey team will start the day at 1:00 p.m., followed by volleyball against Minot State at 2 p.m. and finally, men's hockey at 5 p.m. against Minnesota.
A plethora of activities will be available before and after the men's hockey game on Saturday, as St. Cloud State plans to host a FanFest in the parking lot outside the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center from 3-5 p.m. Fans will be available to experience a tailgating atmosphere which will feature music from KCLD Van, and inflatable obstacle course for kids, axe throwing, cornhole, food trucks and a social tent with alcoholic beverages. After the Huskies and Gophers compete on the ice, Coyote Wild will perform a live concert on Herb Brooks Way to wrap up the evening. Both events will be free to the public.

- St. Cloud State Athletics coaches and staff will serve as bartenders, with all money raised benefiting St. Cloud State Athletics and scholarships

- Men's Soccer vs. Purdue Northwest, Husky Stadium – 7 p.m.
- Homecoming 5K Run/Walk, Lawrence Hall – 10 a.m.
- Halenbeck Hall Open House, Halenbeck Hall – 12:30 p.m.
- Women's Hockey vs. St. Thomas, Herb Brooks National Hockey Center – 1 p.m.
- Volleyball vs. Minot State, Halenbeck Hall – 2 p.m.
- FanFest, Herb Brooks National Hockey Center Parking Lot – 3 p.m.
- Men's Hockey vs. Minnesota, Herb Brooks National Hockey Center – 5 p.m.
- Post-game concert from Coyote Wild, Herb Brooks Way – 7:30 p.m.
