Dominguez Nets Two in Huskies 3-0 Win over Minnesota Crookston

Dominguez scores twice, moves to sixth all-time in program history with six career game-winning goals
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Behind a pair of goals from senior forward Jenna Dominguez (Geneva, Ill.), St. Cloud State Women's Soccer (4-4-2, 3-2-2 NSIC) defeated Minnesota Crookston (1-9-0, 0-7-0 NSIC), 3-0, on Friday night at Husky Stadium. The Huskies dominated the offensive attack by outshooting the Cougars, 18-1 while improving to 3-0-2 in its last five matches.
TURNING POINT
Dominguez scored back-to-back goals in a span of six minutes, scoring in the 36th and 42nd minute of the game to take control of the match. Her first goal was assisted by sophomore forward Megan Kirby (Navarre, Fla.), while the second was assisted by freshman defender Ellie Primerano (Saint Joseph, Mich.).

The Huskies continue its four-game homestand on Sunday, as St. Cloud State hosts Bemidji State on Sunday, Oct. 2. Kickoff from Husky Stadium is slated for 1:00 p.m. CT on the NSIC Network.

- Dominguez scored her third and fourth goals of the season to record her first career multi-goal game. She also recorded her sixth career game-winning goal, moving her into sixth all-time in program history.
- Freshman forward Emma Duerr (Buffalo, Minn.) scored her first career goal in the 83rd minute of the game.
- Kirby recorded her third assist of the season, while Primerano and redshirt senior forward Emali Ortega Talamantes (Denver, Colo.) recorded their first assists of the season.
- Redshirt sophomore Evie Kohn (West Lakeland, Minn.) recorded one save in the game for her third shutout of the season, and eighth of her career. With the shutout, Kohn moves to seventh on the all-time list of career shutouts in program history.
