St. Cloud State Wrestling Announces Alumni Day Information for Match Against Augustana

St. Cloud, Minn.- St. Cloud State Wrestling has announced its schedule for Alumni Day on Saturday, January 18 for their match against Augustana.

Prior to the match against Augustana there will be a pre-match social from 10:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Ultimate Sports Bar in Waite Park, MN. Following the match, there will be a post-match social at Howie's Sports Bar from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The full itinerary for the day is as follows:

10:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. – Pres-Match Social at the Ultimate Sports Bar, 1101 Division St. Waite Park, MN
1 p.m. – 2 p.m. – Alumni Check-In – Halenbeck Hall Gym Balcony
2 p.m. – Dual with Augustana University
Match Intermission – Alumni Introductions
- (Raffle prizes announced – 4 Hats)
4 p.m. – 6 p.m. – Post-Match Social at Howie's Sports Bar, 101 9^th Ave. North, St. Cloud, MN

Below is a letter from Head Coach Steve Costanzo regarding Alumni Day:

Dear SCSU Alumni, Friends & Families,

Greetings from the wrestling team at St. Cloud State University. What an exciting year it has been! Please know that our student-wrestlers are working very hard and making great strides. Our young men are improving with each practice and in every competition.

Because of your commitment and involvement with the wrestling team at St. Cloud State University, I would like to personally invite you to attend and watch us wrestle Augustana University, Saturday, January 18 at 2:00 p.m. in Halenbeck Hall. Alumni present for the match will be introduced during intermission at the center of the mat, so we really hope you can attend.

Before the match, Alumni are encouraged and invited to attend a pre-match luncheon from 10:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. at the Ultimate Sports Bar, 1101 Division St. Waite Park, MN. It will be a great opportunity to meet SCSU Alumni and tell "old stories". Special thanks to the Ultimate Sports Bar and Denny Kunkel for organizing this event!

Concluding the match, you are invited to join us at Howie's Sports Bar, 101 9^th Ave. North, St. Cloud from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. for a post-match social. Complimentary appetizers will be served until 6 p.m. and SCSU student-wrestlers and coaches will be on hand to meet and greet.
