
No. 13 Huskies Cruise to 37-6 Win Over RV MSU Moorhead

SCSU moves to 3-0 in NSIC
St. Cloud, MN. – No. 13 St. Cloud State Wrestling (6-1, 3-0 NSIC) stayed undefeated in the NSIC Thursday evening as they defeated RV MSU Moorhead 37-6. SCSU won eight on the 10 bouts with all eight wins by bonus points.
St. Cloud State burst out to an early 8-0 lead after a pair of major decisions by Ben Aranda (18-4) and Dominic Ducato (12-0). Aranda compiled four takedowns and three back-points on the offensive end while tacking on an escape, riding time, and a stalling point. Ducato recorded three takedowns, an escape, riding time, and a stalling point.
MSU took the next two matches as No. 15 Pedro Velazquez beat Jayce Luna 7-3 and then Parker Benz overcame a 12-6 deficit to beat Jeroen Smith 15-13.
The Huskies got back on track as No. 2 Joel Jesuroga neared a tech fall but ultimately came up with a 17-4 major decision. Gabriel Smith did reach the 15-point threshold for a tech fall with a 20-3 victory as SCSU took a 17-6 lead.
St. Cloud State continued to pour it on with a 11-1 major decision by No. 14 Bryce Dagel. The Huskies would close out the dual with a bang as No. 4 Cole Glazier and Tyson Meyer each added five points to the scoreboard with tech falls and then Jadon Mims closed it out with a pin. The Huskies ultimately went on to win 37-6 in their final dual of 2025.
